Have a picnic indoors at the museum

The Discovery offers a room set aside for guests who wish to bring food or drinks and enjoy them in the museum. To protect the museum's exhibits, there is no food or drink allowed in the gallery areas.

A note about birthday parties: Families are encouraged to gather with friends in Picnic Place, however birthday parties in the museum must be reserved in advance with the museum's staff. For more information about birthday parties at The Discovery, please click here.
